Knoq is a new organization under the umbrella of Polis that is rolling out its own canvassing app, databases and team to serve the progressive/democratic space. The Knoq canvassing app helps neighbors better connect with neighbors because we believe in the value of in-person communication. Our goal is to empower people to have more informed and unifying conversations with their neighbors in the pursuit of better politics and sound policies.

We believe that every person who wants to get involved in their communities should be able to do so in an efficient, effective manner. More in-person conversations will help solve the vitriol and cruelty being spewed online. Connecting offline will encourage people to recognize each others’ humanity which has been lost online because people have been focusing on our differences. We want 100% of campaigns to have the opportunity and technology to run strong outreach programs in 2020 no matter how much money, coordination or support they have. We believe that connecting people offline will drastically improve the current state of affairs. Our goal is to talk to all 120 million American households in the next 3 years.

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and visionary Knoq Executive Director to lead our transformative new organization. This is the most senior position in the effort, and we are seeking a seasoned high-level manager with experience in Democratic politics and advocacy. Ideally this person will be based in the Boston or DC areas.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Self Starter and Quick Executer
  • Ability to Bring New Ideas and Help Build More Efficient Processes

Role and Responsibilities

  • Sell and Negotiate Contracts with Progressive Organizations
  • Travel to Conferences and Represent the Brand
  • Hire Team Members (Support, Marketing and Sales) as Needed
  • Collaborate with Polis Marketing Team on PR
  • Educate Polis Development Team on Feature Needs
